Description
a Truly magnificent show stopper Victorian Carved Sideboard in it’s used condition with minor aging defects. Featuring an Acanthus centered spinosus leaf ornamental carvings, curls and carvings on a straight cornice. Left and right side of Sideboard consists of a drawer each with inlaid rosewood display of flowers and leaves. Antique decorative plate swing handles on the drawers above cupboard doors with panels carved with arcading arches of stylish floral display. Open to reveal a single shelf in each.
The centre inlaid section of the victorian carved sideboard makes for very interesting variants starting from the centre inlaid rosewood decorative display door for storage purposes and open cylindrical arched compartment with oval bottom support on either side There are additional compartments on either side in framed mirror. An open section storage below centre compartments. Resting on saber style, splayed outward curved legs with corbel carvings on the inner section of the legs.
